What are we doing?
From the start of next year (January 2025), we will no longer always have a receptionist at our Highnam site.
Why are we doing this?
The reception team work very closely together and since July 2024, we have had a call room at our Cheltenham Road site. We are keeping the team together so that they can communicate with each other more and deal with all queries more effectively.
What does this mean for me?
Hopefully, this would have a minimal impact on patients visiting our Highnam site. We would actively encourage, if possible, that patients of the practice do the following:
-Ring us on 01452 522709 or 01452 529699 for reception queries.
-Visit our Cheltenham Road site reception desk for queries that need to be face to face.
-Try to actively use the check-in screen at Highnam.
The dispensary team will still be at Highnam and are able to help patients check-in if necessary, take payments, take in samples and answer any other queries you may have or guide you appropriately if not.
